The Pineapple Avenue Corridor Improvements project includes the design and construction of new, rehabilitated, and replacement public works infrastructure along South Pineapple Avenue. Planned improvements consist of roadway base and pavement rehabilitation, curb and gutter reconstruction, sidewalk upgrades, drainage system improvements, pavement markings and striping, and the installation of decorative streetlighting to enhance safety, accessibility, and corridor aesthetics.

Construction activities are limited to the segment of South Pineapple Avenue beginning approximately 195 feet north of the centerline of Burns Court and extending north to the Little Five Points intersection at Oak Street, encompassing approximately 950 linear feet of roadway.

As part of the overall project scope, Burns Court and Burns Lane will be surveyed to evaluate existing roadway conditions, drainage performance, and the potential need for milling and resurfacing improvements to ensure coordinated infrastructure upgrades within the surrounding corridor.
